Fortunately, he stayed away from the action itself and thus did not mess up more than what has been seen. But the writer, Davis Lumsdon, has made a masterful and superb effort that is very impressive; all the elements from the first manga slide right into the finale of the third manga - which is as hysterical as it could get. Nightmare Moon was in tears at the moment of defeat. She did not see the coming, no one does. At least we KNOW that Pinkie as the Joker is true. At least we see Megan herself from G1 in a G4 comic.
Formidable unbelievably amazing! If Lumsdon wants to work for the IDW, give him the job as a writer! Also, Shiei is so impressive as an artist that this is definitely world class. You will find true manga drawings of Sunset Shimmer in the bonus gallery. Beautiful!
