You’re the one with the issue cause you focus too much on the negative than more of the positive.
Sounds like you may have invested to much in these characters if someone calling out their faults makes you mad.

They are cartoon characters. I can, and will say what I want about them because they do not exist.
And if they did-well, I’d outright tell them I trust them as far as I can lob a mountain, and the only respect they earned from me is the civil respect required for social interactions.
And that their bias and constant bending of rules and regulations, alongside the continuous failure to alert others of, prepare for, or reform and/or terminate hostile creatures on the grounds of “Harmony wills it/it’s the right thing to do” has made any chance of me allying or even remotely fighting for or save them as likely as a an amoeba developing FTL and colonizing Jupiter from earth.

Don’t you ever say such harsh and selfish things like that about Twilight and Tempest and I do feel sorry for the victims.
I don’t even make any claims about Tempest as she is during the comic, mind. I just don’t get how people can say Rust Wing at his worst is a worse person than Tempest at her worst. As you said, one is a violent war criminal and slaver who sold out her country for personal power, the other beat a little girl and made her feel bad. Rusty would need to, like, institute child-beating on an industrial scale to compete with Tempest’s actions.
My focus is on people being held accountable-something this show doesn’t do, and people love to heap on characters they don’t like then completely let the ones they do go scott free for in this fandom.
I am chill. I just don’t see someone feeling bad and getting off free for literal mass torture and enslavement as a good thing when people who commit lesser crimes or fail to even get started are treated like reprehensible beasts with a 10th the effort put forth to redeem them.
Tempest in this comic, is without a doubt, the most hypocritical creature to ever exist and protected by a selfish, traitorous to her countries own ideals and laws, and down right cruel in many instances Alicorns.
You just don’t get it and focus on the wrong thing to prove a point which you don’t so why don’t you just cill out and just drop it.
None of them successfully destroyed entire nations and looted them for all they’re worth over having their horn broken.
I already don’t believe Luna should have been returned to the throne immediately after being “cleansed” because she’s proven herself a threat and unable to endure the stress of the position.
Twilight had no right to leave Sunset behind(nor did Starswirl the right to even make that portal much less use it as a dumping ground like a corner cutting, ignorant fool)on the word of a school principle, regardless of who she’s meant to represent.
Starlight being redeemed in and of itself-like the others-is fine, it’s the skewed metric of who gets effort-ala spending years on Starlight but tossing others aside or holding a lesser crime to an ungodly high standard while letting a literal mass murderer, slaver and war criminal(Tempest) walk for feeling sorry about herself that’s basically spitting in the face of everything Harmony represents, much less the simple concept of justice rendered and accountability.

What about Princess Luna, Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer they can kinda relate to Tempest and your way about sending her to jail in order to lean her lesson is not right out of the question.
And unfortunately Princess or not Twilight has no right to absolve a international criminal of her crimes without consent of the countries she help raze.
Thats effectively telling the citizens and countries she hurt they aren’t worth your time, which immediately throws a wrench into any political meetings and is the epitome of selfish, arrogant and cruel decision making. Hell, it’s why so many people despise the US’s stance on it, we have standing orders to invade the Hague if any US soldier os brought to trial there regardless of their crimes.
She can learn from it like everyone else-in a cell or under heavy restrictions until she proves she’s made it up, or she can forfeit her freedoms for a few thousand years since people think thats a fair action.
And we’ve had other people killed for less successful and damaging plots in show without the opportunity to feel bad so “learn and move on” sounds like special treatment and favors being called in more then a just action or fair treatment.

Yes, but she also can’t go back in time and undo it, and the fact that she’s walking around free probably means she was given a pardon by Princess Twilight.
The best she can do is learn from her past and try to be a better pony going forward.
