Am I in a parallel universe where the show got revied? Cause I recall it ending 3 years ago with no word of continuing it!

The analysts actually aren’t the problem. For me at least. With a lot of exceptions (such as Lily Orchard and a few others) They are actually some of the only good people left in the fandom. The toxic people are those that are constantly going on about the things they hate in the show and running stupid-ass campaigns to have their way. Those that weren’t happy with the finale were sending death threats to the director of the show and were horribly harassing those that liked it. Those that didn’t like Twilight becoming an alicorn are still, even after 8 years sticking around and posting shit. Sadly, the fandom is full of those people which is why I consider it dead.
 
But yeah, I shouldn’t really say the entire fandom is just bad people. There are still wonderful people here and there. But the toxic people take up like, at least 70% of the fandom.

I wouldn’t go as far as saying the fandom itself is dead just the Brony craze and yeah threre are a lot of shit-people in this fandom, like the bronalysist community as an example. I wouldn’t say that people like that are toxic, just that they seem to be the equivalent of a radioactive dumpster fire that burns bright on through th night sky.
 
That’s not to say that there arent good people left in this fandom, on the contuary. There are still good people left if you know where to look. Just don’t fall victim to someone’s scheme because they sell you a sob story about how they’ve fallen on hard times or how they live in an abusive home and that they need your donations ( tax free money) to help improve their situation. Because while you may think your doing the right thing by helping someone out of what you believe to be a bad situation is most ultimately false. Not to mention that if you were in a situation like the ones these types people claim to be in? They will not raise a finger to help you, other than maybe say that their sorry for you but that’s it.

To be fair I had lost track of time, but if I were to pinpoint where the sho began to take a downturn? Id say it started with the second season finale. Sure we were introduced to Chrysalis but Cadence just came off as pathetic and hopeless. Soon after the show just seemed to fall into a pattern of repitition and staleness.
 
True you still have fanart and the like, but I was mostly referring to the “Bronies” not the fans. Like the fake people on Youtube who pretend that they’re your friend as long as you donate to their Patreon or GoFundMe accounts. You know the people who got into it because it was popular at the time.
 
I believe that you still have fans who appreciate the show for it’s mythical and fantasy aethsetitic, not because some bozo on Youtube tells you that it’s breaking gender barriers coughsilverquillcough. It was that type of mentality that put the fandom in a bad spot to begin with. When you have people who believe that they are above criticism and they speak for everyone else’s behalf ( when in reality all they’re doing is soap boxing.) it gives the general public a bad veiw on the rest of the fandom. Like when the fandom first started hitting it’s stride, you’d get thes obnoxious people talking about how superior they are to everyone else because they were part of “the true fandom” and how the Brony fandom had created so many relationships. When in reality it had done what every other fandom had done before it.
 
Like I mentioned before it’s okay to still like something that isn’t popular anymore. But the Brony fad is dead.

Yes it may be still going, but there’s so much toxicity that it’s safe to say that the fandom is pretty much dead now. It’s so hard to find good people in the fandom now. The good people are slowly leaving, moving on to something else. But the bad people are still sticking around to post shit about whatever they hated in the show.
 
So yes, the fandom is dead now.

Everything you said was right except for the fandom dying. 12 years back? No… You make it sound like it died the moment the show aired in 2010 which makes no sense whatsoever. The fandom made it strongly till the shows closure and it’s still going strong in it’s own way through art, videos, and small games here and there. A lot of the fandom has already disolved and moved on. It won’t be “dying” anytime soon.

Equestria Girls was not at all that great of a show, the later seasons of G4 (as a whole) were mediocre at best, the remaining “Bronies” were holding out hope that the movie would do so well that it would make them relevant again and G5 is shaping up to be a total shit-storm.
 
Hasbro does not care about wether you like the show or not.
 
The production crew does not care if you like their shows or not, they’re under contract.
 
The “Brony” fad died some 12 years back, it’s time to grow up and move on!
 
Its okay for someone to still like something that isn’t popular, that’s what makes something special to the individual.
 
It is not however, healthy to become so overly obsessed with something that it takes immediate hold over your life.
 
The show got canceled because it was no longer marketable for Hasbro. These things happen, life goes on.
