Eh, as long as I don’t hear official confirmation that Pipp is related to royalty in any way shape or form, I don’t buy it.
Keep in mind that we’re dealing with an entirely different civilization in g5. Not to mention that kind of golden circlet was traditionally associated with royalty and divinity in Roman(?) culture.
I think that’s just a meaningless ornament for only the looks. Diamond Tiara wears a tiara yet she isn’t the princess of earth ponies.
Not as cool as Zipp Storm.
I gotta say, I like what they’re doing with the nomenclature for G5. A short nickname for dialogue, and a longer “pony” name for merchandise. You have a couple of examples in G4, like Lyra Heartstrings and Trixie Lulamoon.
So seems like every species now have own princess
