G4 stock vector art was absolutely terrible and look basically nothing like they do in the show. I think its a bad idea to judge G5 off of their stock art. At least wait until we see them in show. Also this is way better than G4 stock art anyway.

What’s up with the color mismatched wings and horn?  
Also those names seems so weird after so many generations where ponies are named after adjectives and nouns.

Going from characters that generated over 2 million pieces of fanart which, just saying, is the highest number out of any franchise in human history, to these? I’d say it’s bad.  
Of course, when I put the bar as high as I did you could say anything would be bad. But I can’t hide my disappointment.

Blanket ponies! They appeared on a piece of merchandise and they matched up with some /mlp/ leaks for the Generation 5 cast. From left to right (on top), they are Izzy, Sunny, and Pipp.
 
There are a lot of people here that are losing their shit because they think the designs are just tHe wOrSt tHiNg eVeR when they really aren’t that bad all things considered (they just look like Imalou drew them), and merchandise has a pretty bad track record of being off-model (especially compared to the 3/4th angle shots in the second layer), buuuut just ignore them and enjoy the new ponies.
