Description

Object Class: Safe

Special Containment Procedures: All storage media containing instances of SCP-72452 are to be kept in a standard anomalous object locker on Site-63. Access is restricted to Level 4 researchers and higher. Any equipment used to access the media devices is to be kept offline from both Foundation Intranet as well as civilian internet unless authorized by at least 3 Council Members.

Description: SCP-72452 is the collective name given to a number of storage media (currently 12 hard drives, 29 solid state drives, 8 DVDs and 1 VHS cassette) containing an anomalous recording of the episode “The Secret of the Maud Pie” of the children’s cartoon “My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic”. The episode seems to be a normal bootleg recording taken from the US based “Discovery Family” TV channel, until timecode 00:06:31, at which point the character Pinkie Pie (designated SCP-72452-P) turns towards the ‘camera’ and talks to the audience directly for the rest of the episode’s runtime, beckoning the viewer to come visit her through the use of some unspecified gateway.

SCP-72452-P seems to possess knowledge of the viewers, addressing several staff members by name and even revealed to Senior Researcher [REDACTED] several days before he was informed of this by [REDACTED]. How SCP-72452-P attains this knowledge is as of yet unknown.

All attempts at communication so far have failed, communication is one way only, with SCP-72452-P being seemingly unable to see or hear the viewers, though it does react to subsequent viewings of the recording as well as to the video being paused or forwarded / rewound, which it considers to be rude.

Copies of SCP-72452 express the same anomalous properties, regardless of the method of copy, though the rest of the storage seems to be normal.

So far, copies of SCP-72452 could not be erased, with the digital storage media also being unable to be formatted, though all other files on them can be deleted and overwritten as normal.

Discovery and Containment: On April 5th 2016, foundation contacts in the police force of [REDACTED], Florida contacted the foundation after the apparent suicide of a Mr. Thomas Broker. SCP-72452 was playing on repeat on Mr. Broker’s Laptop and SCP-72452-P started talking to the officers after entering the building.

The laptop was taken into foundation custody and class 3 amnestics administered to the police men.

Since then, several more instances where discovered over the years, with no indication as to where the anomalous copies came from or how they were distributed across four different continents as well as [REDACTED].

Addendum: Incident Log 72452-1:
On January 12th 2019, Dr. [REDACTED], a self professed fan of the show decided to take an external SSD containing the anomalous episode and watch it some other personal, to show them that the show is “not just for kids”. The SSD had not been used for several years, and the episode proceeded normally until timecode 00:06:31, when SCP-72452-P turned to the audience. It seemed aggravated and lashed out at the researchers, revealing an affair between one staff-member and another’s wife, leading to a short fist fight between the two men. SCP-72452-P went on and on, trying to incite violence in the viewers, and even telling Researcher Pike about [REDACTED] suggesting him to “end it all and come to me”.
Until the video was finally turned off, it continued telling various watchers to “come to her” and muttering that it was “so hungry”.

When asked about the incident, Dr. [REDACTED] stated that he felt strangely ‘compelled’ to show this very copy of the episode to as many people as possible.
Disciplinary measures have been postponed for now, access to the object locker at Site-63 has been restricted to Level 4 researchers.
Updating object status to keter is currently pending.

Oh, that Pinkie Pie and her fourth wall breaking, ha. ha. ha. sendhelp

N.B.: This is quite obviously a fake SCP, hopefully the number is high enough as to not cause collisions with any proper entries. Also, the text is what we in the business like to call a very rough first draft with zero proof reading; hence its suckiness.
