This is bat country!
It would have been funny (and awesome) if their outfits were pulled off from the suction of the quicksand.

That’s kinda hypocritical, ‘cause your comments are no more useful than any others here.
But whatever, everyone’s a bit of a hypocrite from time to time.

You know, for all the people who don’t like this piece, you could just… not comment? Leave people to their business, goddamn. No one asked.

And yeah, we know you can’t drown in quicksand, there is a thing called “suspension of disbelief”, fuck’s sake.

What’ll she grab it with, her teeth? Her arms are completely submerged, and unless someone drags Bloom out by the hair, she’s sunk.

On top of that, it’s not accurate to how quicksand works either.

Quicksand acts as a fluid roughly twice as dense as water, and most lifeforms are roughly 70% water by volume. So without extra stuff weighing them down (which could easily be discarded if that were the case) or something inside the quicksand dragging them down, they should only sink about halfway into it, at which point, they could easily lean back until they’re laying flat on top of it, then slowly backstroke to solid ground.
