Exactly, Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls have been inseparable since 2016/17. Hasbro didn't talk about FIM without following it up with EG. Anytime FIM has some form of Marathon going on it almost anyways has EG mixed in with it crossover bumpers and all not to mention EG's continued independent airings. I remember 2 or 3 years ago seeing a business map showing EG was as popular as the main series in some countries/regions. Somedays I see more EG art on this site that FIM, same with fimfiction. At this point I don't see why It shouldn't become a become a thing with each new generation getting its own spinoff show.

Yeah. A generation 5 for humans will be a nice idea. The ponies from G5 could have their own human dimension.

Though Equestria Girls along with the main series of Friendship is Magic has definitely come to an end what fans of EQG can more realistically hope for is Generation 5 getting its own spinoff series equivalent to Equestria Girls down the line. That's what im hoping for anyway.

They could just be divided on whether or not Sunset stays in the human world or go back to Equestria. Either way, they know they're gonna have at least 50% of the community come after them no matter what the decide. And I can't imagine they want a repeat of the same backlash they got from the Discord/Grogar thing.

the difference being that the people behind Clone Wars wanted to do more and had more ideas — EqG is done, the staff have moved on, they're not going to listen to a cult of spoiled manchildren who missed their medication demanding retribution for their perceived injustice regarding a magical horse-human cartoon, that's not how these things work
