After Sunny got home with her new pet, the little guy carefully walked inside the house, and looked around, sniffing almost everything, as he slowly explored the house…
 
….it took him maybe a hour, but by lunchtime, he walked around more confidently, and he smiled once more.
 
“You know - said Sunny, as she ate her own lunch, while the little pegasus munched on some pet food - I think, you should get a name….I mean, I cannot call you little guy all the time, right?” She smiled at him, and he also looked up at her, licking his lips, enjoying the food….
 
….as if on cue, a bird landed in the window, what caught the little colt’s attention….he walked closer to the window, and the bird noticed him too….they just looked at each other, while the colt slowly wagged his tail…
 
“I see, that hawk caught your attention”~ she giggled, but also noticed, as she said the bird’s name, his ears turned over to her…. “You like that word, hmm?…..Hawk” ….and his ears turned again, this time he looked at her too.  
“How about that, as you name, hm?” - He looked back to the bird, then at Sunny again with a big smile - “Well, Hawk it is then” she said, smiling…
 
….as the night came, Sunny put the col……Hawk’s basket next to the bed, while she changed into her sleeping clothes then climbed onto the bed…..then she saw Hawk, sitting in his basket, and looking at her with sad expression, a forehoof on the bed.
 
“No, Hawk…sorry, but you have to learn some things….this is my bed, that is yours”….her speech didn’t help, and Hawk used his ‘puppy eyes’, and let out a soft whine, not even blinking…..Sunny looked at him for a while, then let out a sigh, and scooted back a bit… “Okay….come here…”
 
Hawk’s expression instantly turned into a very happy one, then jumped up the bed, and curled up against her. As they slowly fell asleep, Sunny said one more thing.
 
“…but just tonight….okay?”
