Sorry, but not everyone will follow that logic and I’m not the only one here that agrees with this statement. Something will always trigger people. Go look at the politics tag. You might as well ask every kid in school to be straight A students when most will outright refuse to do it or are mentally incapable of performing that feat.

It’s a joke, she is literally saying things like you would expect someone from a Monty Python sketch to use to insult people (only with a french accent in that case.)

Pretty much. Starlight is probably not that readily inclined to break down without good justification if she has no emotional attachment (especially not a negative opinion) to the one who’s saying things like this. Remember her reaction to Twilight’s speech in S5 being “QUIET!”? That’s a reaction more in-character, as would her insulting Chrysalis back with “that’s tough talk coming from the ‘Queen’ of Nothing,” like she’s subtly fired back at Trixie with “accepted she’s second best” before.

Sunburst’s voice would make no sense because Starlight would either think he’s being “mentally ill” delusional if he was claiming his magic was better, or be tipped off/suspect it isn’t actually Sunburst saying that.

Cheezelegs isn’t getting revenge, she’s getting mouthpieced by some loser who just hates Starlight and has no better outlet than pathetically pretending to “hurt” a fictional character with an inaccurate depiction of making her cry about things it makes absolutely no sense in canon for her to be crying about.

Seems to me Glimmer’s response would make a lot more sense if Chrysalis were saying those things in, say, Sunburst’s voice. If that is what’s happening, it just needs to be proven.

Long story short, the uploader just doesn’t like Glimmer and is using Chrysalis as their mouthpiece to show their sad attempt at hate towards her. And to add to this, Glimmer would more than likely just get angry and either hang up on Chrysalis, try to reason with her again like she did when she lost her army and lost a second time, or retaliate back. She wouldn’t bawl in tears and let Chrysalis get away with what she’s saying here. She’s not a pushover.
