I pick option D: The wrath of a good man/ A ggod man goes to war
Still, just by definition, it has more power than anything a pre-type I civilization can achieve.
Actually the full scene DOES show the mountains moving
To be fair an earthquake wouldn’t make mountains “wiggle” either. To me it looks like a visual representation of air ripple from the sheer pressure of the sound waves, rather than a literal ripple in the rock of the mountains and hills.
I haven’t heard about terraforming with bombs, though. Can that really be useful, unless you specifically want a glassed wasteland? I suppose you could create a nuclear winter too, but that’s not really a very desirable effect.
Plus it’s confirmed that Equestrian Magic is the source for Pinkie’s Toon Force
Would camera shake make clouds move away and mountains wiggle?
Also a stronger bomb would absolutely be useful for terraforming, but we haven’t reached the level where we’d need that yet.
To be fair the only reason a bigger bomb hasn’t been built is because there’s no need. It’s very difficult to test (Tsar Bomba was engineered for 100MT, and then halved just to make testing it less dangerous, and the planes that dropped it were still at risk), and it’s not actually useful as a weapon - only as a publicity stunt (tactical missiles, with medium yield warheads, are much, much more cost-efficient, easier to use, etc.).
@Macaroni C-Pony
A camera shake is much more plausible than an earthquake, so while that is a fun analysis I’d say it’s too fundamentally flawed to take seriously.

For maximum hilarity, the strongest explosion humanity has triggered isn’t even the most powerful explosion that was sourced to Earth’s surface - that would be Krakatoa, about 200 megatons of instantanteous energy release.
Well, They did it with the moon
When has logic ever applied in MLP? We’re talking about a world where an energy source that defies the laws of physics standing in as the life force behind all living things in the multiverse.
The most powerful destructive force mankind has ever unleashed

pipealicorn.Rapid changes in the sun’s position don’t seem to have any negative effects on orbits or gravitational effects, so it doesn’t seem to control that, either.
Finally, the sun might not even generate heat; Celestia moving the sun to directly overhead did not come up as a temporary option during The Crystalling, and eternal night in NMM’s bad timeline didn’t seem to make the area any colder despite being like that for years, so it seems likely that the sun does nothing in Equestria by generate light, with heat generated by some other means.
So, I think it’s entirely likely (though not guaranteed) that the bomb is more dangerous even with Celestia having control of the sun.
