I am leaning on more to her mouth… If the artist just had it closed, made it a darker color or just changed the angle of that mouth. it would have looked perfect. As you can see Rarity’s face is at 3/4 angle view meaning: she is tilting her head up at the heart ruby The next thing I can also point out more flaws about this drawing: The way Rarity’s eyes were drawn. They are beautiful in a way, but Shy has somewhat messed up on Rarity’s eyes… Can’t really describe how the look wrong in this artwork.
 
Spike’s eyes are also more focus on Rarity’s Rump… His eyes are also shifting towards her shoulder more then her face. <– That depends on how the viewers look at this drawing… However I know for sure that the Artist was not trying to make Spike stare at Rarity’s butt… Feels like the work was a bit rushed at the last minute.
 
Rarity’s hoof the left one is bit much longer which makes more this piece more confusing and looses it’s detail, although the Artist did admitted that she had trouble trying make the left hoof perfect. The coloring that the artist did, DID kind of make up for the mistakes and made this piece is indeed a lovely work of art!
 
With the beautiful coloring viewers know that something is wrong with this drawing, but they are easily confused by the pretty coloring. :)

Maybe it’s that Spike looks more like he’s high than in love.
