Dude, Faust wrote a whole-ass article when someone accused her of a bunch of shit, including supposedly making Dash a butch lesbian, and said that the tomboy being gay was a harmful stereotype.
And in the end, the writers not only made Dash gay, but AJ as well, so both tomboys ended up as lesbians.
They didn’t. Aj and Dash were still tomboys. Lesbians can also be tomboys. It would be different if they became transmen which is what the original meme portrayed when globohomo guy indoctrinated tomboys into men.
RD and AJ, Faust intended for them to kill the stereotypes of tomboys, yet these S9 writers badly undone her intentions…

No. Just in the series finale, Josh Haber hinted that rainbow dash and AJ are in a relationship. Big Jim said that everything was done so that we could decide whether it was Canon or not. Naturally, this is not confirmed and not Canon, but the disgusting aftertaste remains.
