Meanwhile I’m over here still confused about the placement of some of the characters. Like why have Garble, Ember, Diamond Tiara, Silver Spoon, Twist, and Zippoowhill in Rarities montage? She’s barely interacted with any of them.
Ok. Since these are pretty significant characters. I’ll let the person get away with bringing back the “they forgot about me/us” meme which has been dead for centuries.

I think one of the factors is that if any of the tags for characters is on their watchlist, this meme keeps showing up in the feed.

I guess also this meme can be applied to hundreds of characters. It’s not like the animators could include every single pony/character to ever make an appearance in the show.

There was a much higher amount of featured side characters I suppose that crowded some of these bg ponies out. It still feels off as a veteran of Minty Fresh Adventure though.

Completely understandable in universe but also sounds slightly tragic in a way.

Yes, it’s kind of sad that the fandom seemed to forget about her after Season 5 or so, even though they were featured in an episode. Perhaps the rapidly expanding cast of characters forced us to forget a few.
From Twilight’s perspective, I suppose she didn’t remember much about her old Canterlot friends either since she was around them in a time of her life where she mostly ignored ponies who she didn’t already know very well. Moondancer sticks out because Twilight had wronged her and spent an entire episode fixing it, but ironically these ponies who showed her friendship before her great Friendship adventure just blended into the background in her mind.
Minuette/Colgate actually lightly surprises me. Though I guess in that is me thinking of older times and she didn’t have as much of a lasting fandom relevance like some of the big background ponies.
