These ones just paralyze you. As soon as you make eye contact with one your whole body freezes up and just won’t move, and then as soon as you’re not making eye contact anymore your body will slowly start to loosen up and go back to normal :D

Probably. Monsters are just weirdly attracted to Mac. It’s that unique combination of him being a sexy beast, him being nice and open-minded enough to give them a chance rather than fleeing, and his wannabe alicornness sending him out on adventures sometimes XD

Very cute. Of course, if the ‘too friendly’ part is in play, Mac’s in for a night he’ll never forget.
 
Bonus points if this Basilisk in particular knew Shining first.

Her gaze is mostly just a nuisance to everyone. She can’t turn it off even if she wants to, so anyone who makes eye contact gets paralyzed for a while. At least it’s not petrifying like Maredusa XD

Aww, she’s pretty cute. Her eyes are rather pretty, so I wouldn’t mind getting paralyzed for a little bit if I could look into them. Plus I’d love to snuggle this big snek.
 

I say it’d be good, welcoming, and just a little scary at first, but the fright would subside as one got to know her.
