Despite all my dejectedness for voting, at least I an say that my voting center was rather nice, we should be thankful we live in a country where we can have as close to an honest vote as possible, it will NEVER be perfect, but at least you don’t have a soldier outside “encouraging” you to vote for who’s in power. I can imagine Cadence and Shining would be standing outside a voting hall looking all cute and welcoming, but gets more threatening as you feel their unnerving stare. lol

Politics, the only job where calling the other guy garbage is somehow an acceptable resume. You gonna hire that plumber who’s tagline is, “I’m better than x, y, and z” it sure as hell didn’t work for those phone commercials. Politics is just another excuse hate each other over, because no matter who you would’ve voted for, there are people willing to be cruel to you over it. What a horrible notion that some people see only your political views and treat you like trash for them.

If you know nothing else about the candidates, voting out incumbents is always the best decision.

I know who i have to Vote….

I’d ask that in addition to voting,those considering voting go and get informed as much as is reasonable possible on the policy they will be voting for. I’ve been doing work at voting centers and speaking with the voters on line. Many are unfortunately gravely illiterate on political policy and many reacted with shock at even much repeated proposals or events happening currently. Political ignorance works to the established and corrupts advantage. They love pressuring populations they know will vote for them with all manner of “Go vote” rhetoric which in spirit seems admirable but without further action on the voters part, can end up with them voting in policy detrimental to their interest and/or only in interest to those already in power.
 
Thus too often voters react with shock to policy they don’t like but voted in huge numbers merely because they went in,voted blindly down the row of their preferred party and went off with out much fuss. The sleazy political dregs know this and work with sleazy social and legacy media to keep this mentality going. Always saying to “go vote” but little else. I’m not at all claiming that this fine image is doing that but I want to exclaim how simply saying to go vote is hardly sufficient to improve democracy.
 
Voters must now and forever be implored to come to a further understanding of civic culture. To gain at least basic knowledge of often purposely byzantine electoral matters and government functionalism. To see past the snazzy slogans and buzzwords propped up by corporate backed media that often do a candidates campaign for them, designed to lull and simply for political ends reality, and look with a skeptical but open eye upon the upon the vast collection of alternative sources of information to come to a greater understanding of world happening around them.
 
In short,the entrenched,career politician sleeping with big “X” has nothing to fear from a “Go vote”.
 
They soil their pants when their voters say “Explain in detail how this policy will work for me more than the other candidates plan?”
 
The informed voter is every politicians fear.

It would be incredibly weird if we deleted the wall of text post for being off topic, and left it being quoted in its entirety, not once but twice.
