Since the video is about Constintine, it has a very christian lens to it and you will hear many scathing remarks towards Diocletian by said christians due to his running of the great persecution. However, this does not undermine his legitimacy as an effective ruler, nor his dedication to the roman virtues: such as his issuing of the solidus: the standard for gold coins in the following age, the shift to the age of the dominate; where imperial rule comes from divine right to prevent usurpers, as well as his reforming of the provinces into smaller ‘diocese’; organizational structures that would be used by the later christians and is still used today. So I chose Luna/NMM since the alicorns hold a divine air to them, and more specifically the lunar aspect related to moral ambiguity to reach moral/divine ends, as well as him being part of our sunny boi; Aurelian’s officer core. Then the later abdication to normal luna to be a based and stoicpilled cabbage farmer. I also like luna.

Chryssi - Maximian(tho maxentius in the vid)  
Twi - Galerius  
Luna - Diocletian  
I made spike and sunset, daia and licinius because they’re subordinates to twilight.

Purple guy is Firelight, canonically Starlight’s father.  
So, Flavius Constantius.

Luna would be Licinius, Chrysalis would be Maxentius, Twilight Sparkle is Galerius, and the purple guy is Maximian I think?
