I’m not talking when there’s only 1 good cop, and 1 good crook. I’m talking about when there’s mostly good crooks. then you don’t really need cops at all.
How would these good cops know which crooks are bad and which aren’t? “I was only stealing/selling stuff to support my sick children officer. I swear!”
yeah but those guys’d be on the run from the law whether the cops are bad or not. good cops and good crooks is a very rare situation.
I’m assuming that other types of criminals like drug dealers or gang members still exist. Probably even other Sunjacker groups who make a nice profit selling Heliodryl to desperate ponies. People like Atom Smasher who give away the stuff for free to ponies in need are probably the minority. Then again, it seems the same can be said about cops with a moral compass.
the cops have to be pretty bad overall, if the criminals they are going after are risking their lives for little to no personal benefit to send lifesaving medicine to a charity hospital housed in a cathedral dedicated to the memory of princess celestia.
I mean, all this is is gang violence within a legal framework. Loyalty is enforced. That’s why it would be so different the other way around!

If you turn it around(switch their places)and he was mad at her for killing that mare and beaten her/killed her those same ponies outside would storm in and drag him out and the boss would get him life or death sentence…

Given the text next to her of what the other ponies said, looks like they don’t really care that she did that to him.
