They can’t change their appearance. Their “shell” forms to match their environment and then is set for life. Ones in dungeons will look like treasure chests, ones in ancient tombs like crypts or coffins, ancient castles like iron maidens, and warehouses like crates or boxes :D

Basically a lot of items are eligible for free shipping, and if you buy $25 worth or more of them in one order you don’t pay shipping. Depending on where you live, if you fall just short of 25 it can be cheaper to add another cheap item rather than paying the shipping. Like, recently I ordered a new solder sucker and some wick and it came to $23.75, so rather than pay the $7 shipping I added a $2 box of crackers and paid no shipping :D
 
Alternately if you order a lot of stuff, it’s probably cheaper to pay Amazon Prime’s monthly fee and get free shipping no matter what :D
