Pretty much. They’re basically like likes from the Zelda series. They pull you into their maw and dissolve your valuables and clothes right off your back before spitting you out. They’re harmless though; they have a big set of sharp fangs, but they only use those in self-defense :D

Not intentionally. Just that a lot of monsters have a natural affinity to move into dungeons, labyrinths, old castles, and the like and then attack intruders. A lot of them are intelligent enough to agree to terms like “you can live here, just only attack actual intruders and not my friends” XD
Are you referring to vampires being unable to enter one’s house without being invited?
It wouldn’t be a threat to her, unless Amy tried to eat the dirty laundry XD
Thus far. Hiring monsters is a cheap and effective way to guard a place. A lot of times it consists of “invite them in, set ground rules” XD
