Yeah like personally, I ship fluttercord but I will say that if you want to go for dislestia or do any fanfics or art about it. Don’t let anyone stop you. It’s still possible to be a fan of a ship because at the end of the day. It’s just a cartoon and we don’t have to take that to heart. Just like what you like because it’s good to you and it’s something YOU enjoy doing. It’s appealing to you so don’t let it stop you from shipping dislestia! This is coming from someone who is a big all time fluttercord shipper to lol!

Thanks dude, glad to see someone get this with fun, that is why i made this meme,I was somebit disappointed with the ending,especially, the way this couple was left out, is a bit hard see you 2# favorite ship ,without getting anywhere, and knowing that he will die with the passage of time, but I didn’t want to get bitter about it, I did what discord would do, a joke about what seemed like the end of “dislestia ship” haha, but, maybe it’s good that i did it, maybe i motivates someone to write a fic or make a drawing, the ship won’t die as long as we don’t forget it. :)

seems about right. altho, it more or less happened in season 6. I say let people ship what they want but in my own personal opinion. Fluttercord is way more canon than dislestia would ever be. Solely because the show constantly displays their eternal/close bond. Reasons that are kind of obvious if you just watch the show. But don’t let it stop ya from shipping what ya want. whether you’re a dislestia shipper or fluttercord shipper. although, this meme is golden though.

Honestly i think he do it cause was a wolf in sheep dress , And dont want he “natural enemy” twilight sparkle rule the empire,and he only made up that excuse of “i do it for you” to escape of judge.

in a story it is necessary to favor the scenario to the fan service.  
(example star wars the new trilogy is deplorable)
 
Discoshy was not an obvious at the beginning of the series far from it.  
Dislestia was even more likely to arrive.  
In the middle of the series the two were tied.  
then the writers made their choice. (maybe the fans’ choice?)  
fluttershy was put forward but from my point of view it pauses several problems to the series for the continuation.  
the biggest concern with discoshy is that if fluttershy does not become a draconequus death will put an end to it.  
Dislestia may then happen after, but I fear that celestia must recover a discord in pieces, if it has not destroyed the world before.

Even in Fimfiction Discoshy dominates over dislestia. Even if the story isn’t about romance, by default the AU setting usually have CheesePie, LyraBon and Discoshy canon from the start, because that’s what most viewers interpreted so for them its a basic thing like Mrs and Mr Cake or SugarMac

They could patch up their relationship in the future though.
 
 
They have an eternity ahead of them anyways.

to come back to discord from what I understand:  
they are an artificial being created by grogar to conquer the world.  
Endowed with a powerful magic it was however not the ultimate weapon of its creator.
 
The first love was Baast, but she was mortal, and at his death the immortal departed from the world, for one like him.
 
in it he made the encounter of cosmos, but despite their mutual love their vision of the worlds was too different. yet a scar.
 
Disillusioned, the world does not repeat the same story again and again, but it is not part of it.  
of anger he sowed chaos, a story that changes the monotony of this world.  
So the Killjoy Princess came to stop him, the rest we know.
 
 
my scenario for the sequel and a may be strange (but it’s discord):  
fluttershy fearing the pain she will cause when she dies.  
it will elaborate closely to these tea-parties, these two opposed so long complicit, celectia and discord.  
they had time to tell the story, that fluttershy fell asleep before knowing the end.
 
but discord despite this reciprocal feeling for celestia was not ready to abandon fluttershy to death.  
Spanking only his head he steals the grogar bell, unable to use his magic he pactisa with cosmos.  
he freed her from her power in exchange for becoming her jailer.
 
All this for what?  
transformed with its fluttershy accord into draconequus.  
the condition will be to use some of this power to bring baast back to life in their time.
 
I do not see why they would not all be entitled to their discord.

mon scénario pour la suite et un peut étrange (mais c’est discord):  
fluttershy craignant la souffrance qu’elle occasionnera à sa mort.  
elle élaborera de rapproché à ces thé-partis, ces deux opposé si longtemps complice, celectia et discord.  
ils avait temps d’anecdote à raconté, que fluttershy s’endormait avant d’en connaitre la fin.
 
mais discord malgré ce sentiment réciproque pour celestia n’était pas prés à abandonné fluttershy à la mort.  
ne fessant qu’a sa tête il dérobât la cloche de grogar, ne pouvant utilisé sa magie il pactisa avec cosmos.  
il la libérer de sa puissance en échange de devenir son joliet.
 
tous ceci pour quoi?  
transformé avec son accord fluttershy en draconequus.  
la condition sera d’utilisé une partie de ce pouvoir pour ramener baast en vie à leur époque.
 
je ne voie pas pourquoi elles n’aurais pas toutes droit à leur discord.

Indeed. Discord could’ve easily just get both Fluttershy and Celestia. He already got Fluttershy and he was even making moves to get closer to Celestia as well.

I dont consider it that way, is a chance and fuel for fics, but like you said is implied, so Anyone can be right and at the same time be wrong, it’s a shame that they didn’t explore his lore, his origins and that.  
they left a lot of lore in the air

That kind of sound like headcanon, though. So far the show only implied that Discord can die anytime if he stop doing Chaos or if he is harmed while not having his magic on him. So there are thousands of way he could die.

On top of that the last season pretty much made Celestia despise Discord, so all that points that he scored making her laugh at the Gala were just wasted. Fluttershy is more forgivable.

Dislestia was never even a thing in the show. In season 6 finale Discord even shown that he doesn’t care much about Celestia.

Once of two , starlight is a liar, or discord teast her and play like a ghost in all episode , but even in that , he is a rule of universe , the chaos dont exist without armony , they are eternal forces, unless be the god of chaos is honorific title , and he was not created, but inherited the powers.

Im pretty sure it was mostly implied that Dicoshy is canon. To the point that Pony Life outright started with it as canon. The only “fans who didn’t decided it” are literally dislestia shippers only. Non shipping people don’t really care so for them it might as well be canon, and for discoshy shippers it is already canon since like S4 or S5.

Discord wasn’t a ghost in that episode. He simply made himself look like that. Even Starlight said that she used banishing spell and not any harmfull spell that would kill anyone.

And dont forget the good sombra of the comics , is a pitty , i really like dislestia ship is my #2 in top, a lot of potential , just imagine the episode “between the Dark and Dawn” with discord and celestia like a couple “previously established” go to enjoy they rest,I like that chapter, but I think in that way it would have been much more interesting

Discord actually dead by starlight but he become a ghost , so that mean he is a inmortal even without a body, cause maybe he is a god, a force of universe , but fluttershy is a simple pony, And i dont think they have childrens , we dont see one in the last episode , maybe both have a tea party , And then fluttershy go to work , and he give her lunch , anyway, everything was open to interpretation
