Hmm. I’m thinking something more along the lines of this: Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon know that the CMC fancy Spike, so they chase him in part to just mess with the Crusaders. Of course, they could develop leg legitimate feelings for him after getting to know him, though still tease the Crusaders.
Diamond Tiara is a tsundere and Silver Spoon is a yandere?
Don’t forget to have Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon as the mean girls that also compete for Spike.

I can see a 360 pan around Spike as the girls run towards him in the background before coming back to his face as he gets dog piled and the title pops up… There’s gonna be a lot of running and chasing in this intro. At some point there’s going to be a series of quick cuts as all of the girls, including the mane 6, look at the camera. RD does a wink and a finger gun… I gotta storyboard this or something.
From the few anime I watched, most intros are filled with combat.
I can see that happening in an anime intro.
Ah. My bad 😅. I haven’t watched much anime, though I think I watched Tenchi Muyo (that’s harem, right?) with my cousin back when I was like five. Can’t say I’m too familiar with all the tropes.
Still, I like my idea of the CMC physically trying to get to Spike first. I claim full credit 🤣

“First Girl Wins” means, especially in harem anime, the first potential partner introduced is the one that the protagonist ends up with.
Hmm. Scootaloo would be the fastest runner, but Apple Bloom should be stronger. Of course, Sweetie Belle would try to flip the script by trying to be cute and finding a way to make Spike go to her.

If Scootaloo had an eye out for Spike, I’d imagine her to be a bit tsundere.
