Honestly, Pegasi would probably be just fine during an outbreak.
In order for bats to fly, it’s necessary for them to have super powered immune systems (which is why many of the diseases and viruses they pass on- such as COVID 19- are so terrible), and I assume it would be much the same for any other flying mammal.
