I made this to commemorate the victims who got injured or passed away on the recent explosion in Beirut, Lebanon.

I think it’s because some people are of the opinion that topics as serious as this are best tackled without cartoon characters. When cartoon characters are written to comment on real-world social issues without proper buildup, the result can appear unintentionally comedic or tasteless to the outside observer, even if the comments made are benign or even positive.
People seem to want to purge political stuff from this website.
why?
