Vanna is great as a person but as Fluttershy these days…In the beginning of her channel she was doing a good impersonation but nowdays it’s a completely different character. I agree. She sound NOTHING like Fluttershy. In my opinion, Pinkie Rose sounds more like her. She can even sing songs and still sounding like her. Vannamelon is overrated like the Fluttershy’s voice.

As I’ve said before, with Flutter-chan she doesn’t tries to be true to Fluttershy’s character, she just does whatever she feels like. She still can do good Fluttershy impression, but that’s not what she’s doing in here.

I see what you mean. Personally, when it comes to fandom stuff I’m okay with people changing things about the characters. Many people were doing it left and right from the very beginning, so at some point I just kinda got used to it. It’s just fandom stuff, so, who cares. Especially when it’s not because someone is a bad writer/actor, but they are aware of what they are doing (and Vannamelon seems to be, judging by “Flutter-chan meets classic Fluttershy” video). When it comes to changes in characters, I’m annoyed by the fact that the show itself couldn’t keep itself from changing the way mane six are written, but that’s a different conversation.

Eh. She’s actually pretty close to Fluttershy’s character when she tries, but with this human version of Fluttershy (she’s calling her Flutter-chan) she just does whatever.
