They were the inspiration for these gals, though. They’re the creation of a supervillain, the same guy who built the Trixie Doll, but building a flight system that mimicked the Maredusa Heads was way too complex and expensive so he built mechanical wings and went with a bat motif instead. He built 40 of them in total, each with a different personality that arose from a program incompatibility between their CPU and their cheaper flight system, but all of them too “nice” to be used for fighting so he never bothered building them with any real combat ability outside of bonking into you or restraining you with their wings. They’re the only creations of his that have remained consistently loyal and willing to follow his orders though, so he uses them for spying, sending messages, sabotage, etc :D

Oh wow, I thought those were a variant of the Maredusa heads with twintail hair I was about to start drooling. Bamboozled again :P
