This is about Pony life not EG are you really that desperate?
it should be worth mentioning that there are multiple shorts that do focus on other characters and even rollercoaster of friendship focused on AppleJack and rarity
I assume they wanted the female human characters reformed, to make toys of them, because apparently li’l girls don’t like villains nowadays. Then again, the Sirens didn’t get reformed, and they’re still popular.
I also dislike how they retconned Sour Sweet’s personality when she & the other Preps came back.
I always liked Equestria girls but I would be lying if I said I preferred it to the main show.
Apparently they were actually under a mandate reform the villains.which does kind of show when you realise most of the time they are forgotten about afterward sci-twi and sunset did become main characters but the rest of them Vignette is the only one who makes a story relevant appearance after

I think honestly I prefer Pony Life over “Equestria Girls.” I kinda got bored of it, they always handle “problems/villains” the same ways, and it mostly focuses on Twilight/Glasses Twi’, and Sunset, and hardly does anything with any other character.
