And it makes me question why they gave Discord his magic back. The only times he helped is when he lost his magic but the moment he gets it back he goes back being a jerkass.
it’ll never be enough. Not until they are the negative score abuse “art” I occasionally see.
it’s been argued to death and been proven multiple times why they got what they deserved
If you can’t see that, you need some serious help.
I am currently at work on a story which details that the Cozy Glow we have seen in the series was not the true Cozy Glow (a fact which is all but implied in the dialogue that Cozy had with both Starlight and with Neighsay in the same episode in-isolation); that “Cozy” was actually a servant to the true Cozy Glow who was busy at war against an even greater threat to not just Equestria but to all life on the main continent: a threat that only Cozy Glow believed that she could realistically defeat due to her personal stance against Princess Celestia; whom nearly plunged Equestria into turmoil time and time again through her own incompetency as both a Princess and as an Alicorn. “Cozy’s” little speech about how she was wanting to rule over Equestria herself was simply her running her mouth to try and hide the truth about the real Cozy Glows’ whereabouts: both of them believing that if Celestia were to ever learn that the real Cozy Glow was not only still active but also “disobeying” her by gathering not only followers willing to obey any command, but also posing as a direct threat to Celestias’ solitary authority should the truth behind Cozy Glow and where she originally came from would ever be revealed to the wider public… not after all the effort and heartache Celestia had to cause to wipe out everyponies memories nearly a decade ago to secure her position as The Princess of The Sun: a Princess who would never try falling in love with a parallel Equestrias’ King Sombra, a Princess who would never try to get pregnant, not a Princess who would give birth to a arctic blue-maned, Pink-coated Alicorn Filly whom she would name “Cozy Glow”, and definitely not one who would experience a prophetic vision foretelling that her own daughter would cause untold doom and destruction to Equestria should her heart break from Magic; and end up making the prophecy Self-Fulfilling by erasing her daughters’ existence from everyponies minds and bewitching her now Pegasus daughter to never be able to tell the truth and casting a spell meant to banish Cozy from the palace grounds and to never again return to Canterlot for the continued safety of her nation: all just two days before Princess Luna would even return…Nope, Princess Celestia was not the sort of pony that would ever do anything like that, just imagine the scandal and negative looks that Celestia would receive from her own subjects as they realize that the incorruptible Sun Goddess that they have willingly listened to all these years was secretly a control freak that behaved like a spoiled child that wet the bed and tried hiding the bedsheets before her parents woke up? What would her sister say to learn that Celestia actually had a daughter after all this time who was in many ways just as brash and brazen as Luna was and who preferred to throw down and brawl instead of staying inside the palace walls like “a Proper and Good Princess” should? What would Twilight Sparkle say if she finds out that her Mentor who had long ago entrusted her faithful student with the care and upbringing of Cozy Glow enough to have Twilight made into the fillys’ loving Godmother: that she apparently didn’t even trust Twilight enough with watching over Cozy Glow to have her memories spent with the young foal since the day she was born completely erased? It would inevitably paint Princess Celestia not as a caring Princess, but as a control freak and an pathological liar that would do anything and everything just to try maintaining her own perfect image at all costs, no matter how many lives she would both knowingly and unknowingly ruin in the process, and we do not want that at all now. Would we?
