Celsius goes from the freezing point of water(0c) to the boiling point of water (100c), if you want to use fucked up metrics for temperature measurement then be my guest but don’t drag the rest of us down into it!
@GaruuSpike
Not everyone tolerates temperature the same way. It can easily get up to 90-100+ where I live during the summer, and it’s absolutely miserable. It can also get below freezing in the winter, but I’d gladly take that instead.
Don’t start this argument again. We are not discussing which is “better;” we are having a lighthearted discussion on local climates and temperature preferences, and trying to include everyone by nobly including both measurement systems.

It’s not only “science”. It’s how people measure temperature in everyday life in many countries. Also it’s very practical and easy to understand, due to the way the 0 and 100 degrees points are defined.
I completely support Gallus here. I despise hot weather.
0C (32F) Literally freezing
5C (41F) Cold
10-16C (50-60F) Comfortable
20-24C (70-75F) Uncomfortable
27C+ (80F+) No
But couldn’t they just ride a thermal up to the cooler stratosphere when it gets that hot? Unless the Cloudsdale Weather Factory has to create things like that too?
You know, thinking about this a bit more, if Gallus is that miserable at 80F, then it’s probably hard for him to breathe in typical beach weather. Poor dude. His fluff is just too thicc for his own good
16C is on the chilly side but still comfortable; you may want to wear jeans (61F)
27C is shorts weather but not unpleasantly hot at all; Gallus is just a fluffy wimp. (81F)
5C is heavy jacket/gloves/scarf weather (41F)
That being said… Gallus would melt into a fluffy catbird puddle where I live. It’s 40C (104F) or higher on a daily basis during the summer
