How bad is short bowel syndrome?

Now you have six months to live as fully as you can and no reason not to eat everything you want.

Am medical student. Can confirm. In humans, at least, about 4 meters of small intestine can be cut without risk of short bowel syndrome.

Maybe she’ll be made a princess.

just cut out the part of the intestines out that has the cancer, she can live with a fraction of an intestine left.  
I should know. I was born with a rare birth defect that effected my intestines and had to get 1/3 of mine cut out
