Yes, I haven’t been on it for quite a while, he can be correct but often too vague on his explanations which can lead to misinterpretations.
Here’s a few urls if you are interested The surreptitious assault on privacy, security, and freedom Corporate surveillance, digital tracking, big data & privacy The internet is broken
Here’s a supplement that is important to my point of view.
The actually worldwide problem that I often see is that most groups that are important, who have a positive impact are being dissolved because of subversion.
I recommend watching the lectures of Yuri Bezmenov on the subject to be able to recognize possible direct or indirect disruption.
As for a solution the work of Marshall Rosenberg about human communication is a must, this is the audio book but there is also the book which I highly recommend.
I won’t post further because I think this is getting out of the spectrum of comments. I hope you’ll take time to read and vision the shared content. Take care.
@softland
IceCat is dependent on shitty mozilla devil spawn, which is why I use Pale Moon. The VPN is added because Tor is unusable on many websites and that includes Derpibooru because cockflare. Of course I’d use uMatrix.

Calm down m8. It is not an issue if your ISP knows that you’re using tor or another meshnet.
Tor + a VPN is not recommended. Tor makes you blend in the crowd, use a VPN an you distinguish yourself from the crowd.
>Pale Moon
It doesn’t matter what kind of “modern” browser is used they are all following the latest w3c standards that have a very negative impact on users and the web.
If you want a web browser that follows simple/efficient standards go see the “links web browser”.
Dynamic websites were a mistake.
Edit: for any browser, i’d still recommend a ff fork like icecat for example, always use a web-firewall like umatrix and only load the content needed for text and images to appear.
Incognito mode - a false assurance by corporations that you’re safe online and never protects you from anything
Firefox about:config tweaks using ghacks user.js - probably better but still doesn’t protect from your ISP. Besides, why deal with the shitty about:config when you can just use LibreWolf?
Tor - hides your history but doesn’t hide the fact that you’re using Tor. That is what Cozy is seeing here.
VPN - you just transferred your search history from an evil company to an even more evil company, unless you’re using Mullvad, in which case you’re probably safe.
VPN + Tor Browser - now it will be really hard for Cozy to find tour search history, but how will you even get to Derpibooru with fucking COCKFLARE blocking you? The onion doesn’t even work (my browser gave me a security warning of some expired certificate or something?)
VPN + Tor + Pale Moon - now you’ve got the ultimate browsing experience, using the older, better Firefox, now developed by a furrie (Moonchild) and a fucking retard (Mattatobin).
“According to this data, you’ve run a search for ‘ulrich haarburste’ anywhere between one and seven times a day, every day, for the past four-and-a-half years. Care to explain?”
