You know, we can all just head-cannon that Pinkie’s there with her cannon to blast a new layer of paint all over the wall after it was vandalized by some trouble-makers. The police officer is there to ensure Pinkie’s safety and to see if he might be able to spot any suspicious looking individuals, any of which may be the one(s) responsible for this defacement of propriety.
