Like, what about building a future where we can all live a decent life, more or less, free of violence, extreme poverty, hatred, polution, blahblahblah, you know the deal. You’re right, freedom of expression should be a no-brainer. Unfortunately people have short memories and the people that are pro-censorship always seem to think they’ll be the ones able to say and do as they please for the rest of time. It’s only when it affects them that they come running out screaming tyranny. I couldn’t care less what side of the fence anyone falls on, I stand up for their ability to create what they want.
 
Both recent crisis were manufactured, and I’m not one of the knee-jerking emotional reactionaries that discards freedom so readily. So far everyone coming to the comments has made it about race. They have absolutely nothing to say about censorship, freedom of expression and the descent into banning everything not sterilized by the iron fist of PC culture.
 
The paradox of tolerance doesn’t really apply since the people you’re fighting against, namely me, is interested in equal rights and treatment for all. Not special privileges for some. In fact, in this scenario, you’re the intolerant one you’re telling me I shouldn’t tolerate.

And FYI, while I don’t consider myself any smarter than anyone here (evidence of that is that I’m actually taking the time to write this when I probably shouldn’t bother), I’m just tired of the drama over an issue that ought to be a no-brainer (when the crisis at hand has to do with something like racism, don’t fan the flames, you dipshits), so I’ll see myself out.

This year as a whole is so farflung from previous years it’s in a whole new category all its own. There havent been protests and riots like this about human rights issues for a long time. I can understand resistance to change, I’m not denying that it may be hard to accept this decision. I’m simply explaining that it’s within their rights to enact said change. That’s all I’m going to say and respond on this matter, as there’s plenty of more productive ways to spend my time

They’re allowed to hold an opinion, but that doesn’t give them freedom to express that opinion if it goes against what the creators of the site want for the site. It’s literally that simple, and creating an image to protest it is totally within your right but it’s not like it’s gonna change anything.

Just because you view it that way, doesn’t mean that’s the right way to view it. Or that the admins have to view it that way. There are plenty of reasons why they may not allow some images, for example if some are illegal. There ARE images they don’t allow here, beyond the BLM images, you know.

There is no “one soapbox over another”. If the admins of this site feel as though racist images should not be allowed on the site, that is it and final. This is a privately owned and operated site and they can do whatever they want.
 
You, as the “community”, use their site, comply with their terms of service, and follow their rules, or you leave. That’s not bullying, that’s business.

So, what have we learnt today? The world is an unpredictable shitstorm, people are idiots, I’m completely confused about my life, internet comunities are only a front for viewpoint parroting, we rather trade fists than have conversations and all that matters to fat american men is that they can talk whateverthehell they want, because dammit, they have a mouth, they’re smart and they sleep with the constitution.
