It’s a pegasus who is Tomcat’s co-driver and close friend, like him, he comes from Equestria and is a former Wonderbolt member. Grumman was clearly more level headed than his partner Tomcat, which is shown through his slightly more serious personality. Personnality :
Grumman is described as an excellent Wonderbolt, whether in his flying or in his attitude. He is energetic, scathing, brave, full of humor and loves to make his friends laugh. He is also known for his good humor, his enthusiasm and his love of competition, he is always ready to take up a challenge. Nevertheless, he knows how to admit defeat and is able to train hard. But he can feel anger, in case of extreme situations or when his enemies go too far in cruelty, a more than serious attitude he loses his calm and rage invades. When he has no choice he would not hesitate to remove his opponents. Spitfire says that in the future he can become an excellent instructor, Grumman is portrayed as kind, patient, and determined to shape her students’ morals. However, she is also reasonably strict and disciplinary. But the big weak point of Grumman is his passions to party, certainly because of his family and in particular his sister Surprise, and because of Pinkie Pie. Backstory :
Born in Cloudsdale, Grumman is a young Pegasus who has been mocked by others because he could not fly. But this will quickly change as he saves one of them by guiding him without any worries and without knowing a method of co-driving. Yet he does not get his Cutie Mark, Yet he does not receive his Cutie Mark, but he is sure that it is related to that, later he meets a pegasus named Tomcat during a competition, during the race when the victory was acquired him, he warns Tomcat to avoid the incident. in the end, the blue Pegasus prevails, yet he feels indebted to him, but despite the defeat, Grumman becomes aware of his co-pilot role thanks to Tomcat, since a great friendship was born between them. the deal is perfect and although he is not as fast, he compensates by his speed to make decisions and his speed of reaction for his partner.
When he arrived at the Wonderbolts, he met Tomcat co-driver, Rainbow Blaze, the current passes between them. During his time at the Wonderbolts, he was known for his more than warm and cheerful welcome to newcomers, Moreover, he meets his teammate FireFly at the arrival of newcomers, he then notices that Blitz and Fly is getting closer, which does not like Tomcat for professional reasons, after difficult moments between Tomcat, Rainbow Blaze & FireFly, the relationship between the four Pegasas will be even stronger. At a party with his friends, he hears a rock voice coming from a magenta pony with pink and light pink mane, Cheerilee. Despite a difficult start for her, he sings with his friends to give him confidence and smile, a beautiful friendship begins between Grumman and Cheerilee. After this meeting thanks to Karaoke, the two ponies will become friends and get to know each other a little more.
But the disparity of Rainbow Blaze and FireFly will complicate things, after the ceremony, he meets with Tomcat the little sister of Blaze, Rainbow Dash, Grumman takes the first step with reassuring words. He will learn later that some Pegasus accuses Tomcat to be responsible for this, Grumman tells the situation in Cheerilee, he wants to find the friends he knew in the past, the latter gives him valuable advice to the help, while in return he encourages her that she was in doubt in her career, the two are getting closer and closer. During the race, one of the competitors bumps him voluntarily, ko he is rescued in extremis by Tomcat, when he wakes up He learns that Tomcat is fired from the academy, by support of his friend, he also leaves the academy with him. One evening he sees Tomcat on the departure, he explains the situation concerning a picture where we see Blaze and FireFly living in Concordia.
He decides to go with Tomcat in search of their missing friends, but before that, he goes to Cheerilee to announce his departure and say goodbye. Arrived in front of the house of this one, he is stressed not knowing how he announced the situation. When the door opens and their eyes meet, she is surprised to see him late at night. They blush and do not dare to talk straight to each other, Grumman speaks first and explains the situation and announces his departure, but Cheerilee furiously refuses, Grumman is surprised and does not understand his reaction. That’s when Cheerilee gets angry and argues with him, Grumman expects explanations, and tells him in tears that she’s scared, afraid of losing him while she has a wonderful time with him, she has never been so happy and straight in the eyes she tells him in tears that she loves him. Grumman understands that Cheerilee’s feelings for him are shared, like a romantic, with a smile on his lips, he takes Cheerilee in his arms and says “you have beautiful eyes you know” before kissing her. He promises to come back safe and sound with his friends and that when he returns, he will go live with her if she wants to. While leaving Ponyville, Tomcat notices the big smile and reassured air of his friend, when he pauses the question, Grumman answers him “She loves me”.
A few months later, He is slightly injured on his right wing during an ambush with Tomcat, they are saved by two unicorns and a pony, Duststrife, Light Raid and Swift Shade, their meetings will be the beginning of a new adventures with their new companions.
