I dunno, I’ve seen similar shows with different writing actually.
Not to mention, even some bronies think half of the entire FIM show’s writing is “bad.” So even they’re not always fond of FIM’s style either, nor is it always perfect for everybody.
Look, in the end, we’ll only know for sure once Pony Life actually airs. But it’s just from what I’ve seen so far, I’m not all that confident it’ll be good. Sure, maybe I’m wrong, but usually a show with this kind of artstyle tends to also come with a specific style of writing that I’m not the biggest fan of.
Teletubbies weren’t stop-motion animated. They were goofy costumes.
Also, you go from saying “it’s like TTG,” (an edgy TVPG pre-teen “fart joke” cartoon) to suddenly “Teletubbies?” Which is it? It can’t be both.

I actually don’t like the stop-motion shorts, either. They seem to be made for toddlers. I still have nightmares from watching Teletubbies as a little kid, so I’d rather not be reminded of that.

I kinda tire of that “criticism” too, it’d be like somebody complaining that G4/FIM looks like “Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends,” or something. (And I don’t even think it does that much.)
In fact, ironically, I’ve seen some G1-fans, or MLP-haters bash FIM for it’s art style too.
I even saw a G1 gal on DA complaining the ponies aren’t “chubby” anymore.

Suppose PL is bad… Then so what? It’s not going to hurt G4’s legacy, and we don’t have to watch it, it’s just a brief branching point for G5. Should we continue complaining constantly, or just move on to something else MLP-related we like?
That said, I actually liked the stop-motion shorts. So if that’s a preview of what PL will sort’ve be like, then we need not panic about it being “like TTG.” (Ironically, people whom hate that show admit a few episodes, and the movie were good.)
I honestly don’t even think it looks exactly like TTG, and if you guys think all chibi, cartoony, “big head” cartoons look like TTG, then you don’t have a good artistic eye. And for that matter, by that logic, that means you guys are saying all our beloved cartoonier brony fanartists whom draw similarly are “bad” too.

You’re talking about a show that had female and male ponies with a huge variety of snouts and get much of unrealistic sizes and you’re saying that they look like ponies when these don’t.
