Well, it should be easier to magically make a mare preggies than a stallion. And then the birthgiving.
If that doesn’t convince you, I can’t word it any better.
Why does that make them “superior”? So they’re living fetus factories as well as everything else, so what?
Logically speaking I suppose there’s SOME truth in that: mares might not be as muscular as stallions in ‘MLP’ (canonically), but they can do exactly the same stuff (besides impregnating without spells) and unlike stallions even give birth. So in that sense mares are superior.
