By the looks of it, Ocellus tried to use Starlight’s authority to get her friends to read as much as she does (or read more books not part of their curriculum)

That’s not detention worthy, for all starlight knows it was a joke, who could imitate starlight the best, and ocellus being a changling was not allowed to compete, as it would be unfair, so she wanted them to study up for the contest.
