Rarity instance was in Issues 7 and 8 (Parts 3 and 4 of Nightmare Rarity arc). In Issue 7 Pinkie mentions Rarity farting in the tub at the spa (though she only mentions the bubbles it’s pretty clear what she means), then they show Pinkie’s flashback of it in Issue 8 when the ponies are remembering everything they love about Rarity to save her from Nightmare Moon’s possession.
 
Fluttershy instance was in Issue 73 where an amulet makes her act like other animals. On one page we see her walking alongside a skunk with her tail positioned the same way and Rarity reacting to a smell which some say could be the skunk, others say Fluttershy imitated a skunk spraying Rarity the only way she could, by farting in her face.

I restate that I hope Spike is just 100% dropped from G5. He had so much great character potential, but the writers just floundered with him, used him as a buttmonkey, and promptly undid anything and everything good he sought out to do and didn’t get anything close to a payoff with any of the risks he took.
 
The only lasting legacy was the BS about saving the crystal empire, which he obviously didn’t and Twilight, shining armor, and cadance LIED ABOUT to the entire populace.
 
No friendship with thorax, instead he “suddenly” is… friends with big mac, someone he never interacts with.
 
No friendship with Ember, because Smolder exists and “lol it’s funny when she berates Spike and treats him like garbage and lies to his face instead of being a friend and teaching him about dragons.”

Oh, sounds interesting. I wouldn’t mind having the comic sources. I really shouldn’t be reading the comics out of order but I can’t help myself.

No, they “assumed creative control” over the project and wanted to twist it far away from what she wanted to do so she left.

Honestly, I’d rather Spike just not be in G5. It was clear the writers didn’t know what to do with him once they kicked Lauren off the team. They NEARLY did good things with him in regards to Ember and Thorax, then they just took all that development and threw it away. I’d rather there not be a G5 Spike instead of getting a poorly written one.

I hope they’re willing to show female characters farting too. Normally I wouldn’t expect them to, but the comics did show Rarity and Fluttershy farting (and you’d expect it the least of them compared to Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, or Applejack), and make reference to Rainbow Dash farting, and also Starfire and Terra farted in Teen Titans Go, not to mention Loud House, so it’s not entirely unheard of in fiction with toilet humor, and we know the writers love buttplay with the G4 ponies.
 
I mean, I know some fans will be put off by it but if they’re already playing it with Spike, why stop there?

Spike lives in a society of creatures whose identity is on their behinds. Why shouldn’t he identify himself by his own behind?

And how does Twilight send letters? By shoving them up his…
