Because they wanted to sell more toys than Monster High, so they created a similar franchise for that only reason. And I think they failed.
Woah calm down. I can understand your hatred and your opinions towards this, but keep in mind the original targeted audience for both MLP and EQG. In others words, bronies don’t have too much of a say in getting rid of a show originally intended for little children and families. They can only speak their opinion as they’re not in control of the decision making of a company, even if they make bad decisions. I personally don’t mind it, but that’s me. I always welcome something different for many franchises instead of watching the same old thing, no matter how great or entertaining it is.
