Wow I didn’t notice that. I thought only Sugar Morning’s pictures had this problem, but now that I checked, all the GIFs with transparent background have it.  
They should disappear if you click on the gif to show the larger version.

Interesting. An update with the site itself, perhaps? I’ve only just noticed it happening in the last couple weeks or so. And it’s pretty much any GIF with a transparent background, not just these.

Glad I’m not the only one. It seems the GIF layers are stacking rather than being replaced. I think this happened after Chrome’s recent update. Unless that’s just a coincidence.

You must be having the same problem I’m having. Brave (based on Chrome) is making GIFs look weird on Derpi. It looks fine in an image viewer. Not sure if Firefox is having this problem.
