Artist’s notes:
 
After the most fatal and destructive fire season in recorded history, we in California have something to be thankful for. At long last, the rains have come.  
Except of course that now all the burned areas will have mudslides, thousands of people are sheltering in tents because their houses burned to the ground and they have nowhere else to go, and any fragment of human remains on the thousands of properties not yet investigated might get washed away, but at least we will have no more fires for a while.
 
Also, I get to take some days off. Here G1 Sprinkles and Quackers enjoy the rain.
