Being daughter of the grand royal family of Equestria, princess Athena is cold and overwhelmed young unicorn. Her character flows from her harsh childhood. She is a very powerful mare, her magical abilities are comparable to alicorn’s magic, though Athena had a deep aversion to her magic, which she had inherited from Celestia, as she symbolized the ruined life of her mother and her cruel father. She is the result of a deliberate union fostered by the Blueblood, which Celestia supported. She hardly uses her abilities, which gives ponies the impression that she is a very incapable unicorn. Despite her calm behavior, Athena initially had a moderate level of arrogance, which combined with her solitary inclinations sometimes forced her to take the initiative, not taking into account the opinions of others.

Twilight loves her daughter very much, and she tries to make her childhood happy, devoid of troubles, she would give everything that she never had. She realizes that she is the future supreme ruler of Equestria, therefore Twilight brings up modesty in Athena, while the Blueblood frankly spoils the girl.

When young princess was born, the whole wide Equestria greatly greeted him as a father of descendant of Celestia. He was one of the most honourable ponies in the world.
