I’m SO sorry for taking forever to get another NG part out. I’ve been so busy with other stuff that I couldn’t get to it until now! I pushed aside a couple other things to get this done because I really wanted to draw another NG thing ;w;

Oh yes, I should probably mention that Magic Aura is 16 when this whole thing took place. She is 22 right now ^^

After reluctantly rolling out of bed, Magic Aura began getting ready for an event she really didn’t want to go to. She’d text her best friend, Soft Aloe, to complain, but she was busy for the day helping her parents. She sighed and slammed her face against her dresser.

“Why did I have to be born into this world?” She huffed, throwing on her princess gear. She grabbed her hair ties and put her hair up into her famous pigtails. She nodded in satisfaction, then grabbed her favorite scarf and lense-less glasses. She made sure she had her crown and shoes and checked in the mirror one last time. Who needed stupid fancy neckwear when she had a scarf that would keep her warm and make her look stylish? She smirked at herself in the mirror, then walked out and shut the door to her bedroom behind her. She sighed, just standing there in the hallway. She didn’t want to move. She didn’t want other ponies seeing her in this dreaded jewelry. However, her mother, Twilight, started walking towards her. She assumed that Twilight was here to check on her. Magic Aura stood proudly and her mother stood in front of her, her face dropping to worry. Magic Aura’s proud pose now turned into a slouched and lazy pose. Her mom was gonna judge her clothing choice, wasn’t she?

“Magical Aura, you can’t wear that stuff!” Twilight Sparkle said as calmly as possible. Magic Aura kept a blank stare on her face. Yep, she knew that was coming.

“What stuff?” She asked. She already knew the answer, but she wanted to prove her mom being nitpicky about her clothing choice to be true.

“Y’know, the scarf and the glasses. They’ll have to go until the announcing is over. Also, you should do something with your hair instead of wearing it up all the time!” Twilight said, pointing to her scarf. Magic Aura couldn’t help herself and sneered at her mom, holding her hoof against her chest in disgust. Her wings also opened as well.

“Why does it matter?” She asked her in annoyance. Twilight thought for a moment, but frowned.

“They aren’t very… professional, Magical Aura. You need to look presentable. This is for Princess Celestia, for her sake! I don’t think she’d appreciate you dressing in such unprofessional clothes.” Twilight exclaimed loudly. Magic Aura groaned.

“Why do you care so much about Princess Celestia? Do you have some kind of crush on her or something?” Magic Aura said with an eye roll. Twilight glared at her.

“That is enough of your sass, Magical Aura! You go and change to look more professional and presentable this instant, or no video games for a week! No books either!” Twilight said angrily. Magic Aura felt her stomach wretch at the thought of no video games or books for an ENTIRE WEEK! She lowered her head.

“But mom-” she started, but Twilight stomped her hoof on the ground.

“No buts! Go now!” She said, glaring at her daughter. Magic Aura sneered again and stood up straight.

“FINE!” She screamed at her, going into her room and slamming the door behind her. Twilight stood in front of the door. She frowned. She was seriously worried about Magic Aura. What in Equestria had caused her to act like this? She was 16 and acting like a child. She hated going to events. She hated socializing with other ponies. She hated looking nice. What was with her? She at least got along with her friends’ children, but she could barely get Magical Aura to go outside and interact with them. Twilight sighed and went back up to her room to talk to her husband, Flash Sentry, and to check on the other two kids.

This was going to be an AMAZING day for Twilight and Magic Aura.
