That probably hasn’t been decided yet. I feel as if they will try to delay everything in hopes that this doesn’t last much longer but if it does they will be forced to switch to digital only to survive.
 
Or I could be totally wrong and they just release everything digital only right away.

I’ll make a note here (and the other covers) that Diamond Comic Distributors just announced that due to the COVID-19 situation they will postpone shipping any comics with planned released after April 1 indefinitely, which will include MLP Issues #89 onward.

Considering how crossovers are made with MLP:FiM a lot, equivalent of Touhou in Japan, but MLP:FiM is globally popular compared to it, so official crossovers of MLP:FiM are much more likely happen.

I took a glance around their communities and while their is some hate it appears to be more of a mixed than outright negative reaction across the board. Though I am only partly familiar with the TF fandom. Was/halfway still a bit of a fan of transformers fan but never really messed with the community much so I am unsure of my ability to gauge the full consensus. Plus the fact that their fandom is similar to ours in not being based fully on a subreddit or two and a few social media tags so I imagine it maybe better to look at it one site/subgroup at a time.

People here like the idea of this crossover of course but I heard outside of sites like this, there is much outrage. Do you think the meltdown would be much greater if there really was a My Little Pony/Sonic the Hedgehog crossover?

Ian Flynn is one of the writers for this. The guy that was the main writer for the Archie Sonic comics from 2006 to the end and then moved on to IDW for their Sonic comics. Has he ever written for My Little Pony before? Do you consider his involvement a good thing?
