I’ve enjoyed what the comics accomplished and it gives me something mlp related to look forward to. Glad to know the comics won’t die just because mlp and eqg are gone.
@Darth Sonic
Ikr ? That’s off-putting as hell, specially since it’s conflicting with the show’s cano-… Wait, did this franchise ever had a cohesive canon to begin with, and if so, did the comics ever give a shit about it ?
@Darth Sonic
Probably yes. Twilight became queen of all world. Every creature has to praise her as great goddess. Goddess of friendship and goddess of magic. The second part is scary :D
It only shows how the finale was crazy and reckless in some points.

I could agree that many people exaggerate with criticism. However, this is fueled by the fact that many fans treat comics equally to the show. They say that if you like the series, you have to like the comics. The same applies to the canon. People could kill each other about whether comics are canonical or not.
I like to think about all comics, even “season 10” as spinoffs. The worst what would you do is to force people to change their mind. In most case it doesn’t work and is very rudely.

People who complain about the comics are such a infinitely small, loud, bubble. You could list a thousand people and that’s still tiny. As long as the art is good and the jokes are good it’s a successful kids friendly comic book.
The rejection of things from fans taking it too seriously is always an enjoyable waste of energy I will watch til the end in this fandom.
It will probably be rejected when the negative reactions come. After all, the queen title is controversial in the MLP - and even though Celestia and Luna have given up the crowns, they are still princesses like alicorns as established in Season 3 when Twilight is hailed as a princess by being an alicorn. And don’t forget Cadance! Twilight is the ruling princess like Celestia, and this had been the rule when Celestia was the only alicorn for many centuries.
@eagc7
But in the series they just call her a princess in the finale and it’s more official / canonical. For me, to be honest, princess title is much more suitable for Twilight, because she do exactly what Celestia before season 1.
@Background Pony #FE12
Well the Gameloft game reffered to her as Queen and the description of one of the Series finale clips on youtube also refers to her a Queen, so it may leave questions, but it seems officially she is Queen
Queen Twilight? Did they say or not she was going to rule under the title of Princess?
Does the setting have no distinction between queen and princess? How could a princess have the authority to promote one to queen? Why were Celestia and Luna not promoted to queen at some point then? (Headcanon is Star Swirl disappeared before they completed their training to be queens.)
