anon isn’t radioactive. he’s a magical black hole. that’s why everything loses color around him, by our perception at least.
everyone besides him radiates magic, just pinkie’s the only one who manages to radiate enough to keep up with anon’s absorption. her and a few other powerful magical loci, like their eyes and cutie marks.

He works as an artist for IDW and gets a lot of work in recent mounts and i think he got some health problems because of it. And so when he have some free time he only works on commissions or rests.
Im super sad that this comic is on hiatus as it was my favorite “big” comic in the whole MLP fandom so far. I really wish to see more of his shenanigans and more of this sexy incarnation of Catrina… T_T
I hope that maybe next year he will go back to working on it at least once a month. :/

More likely on Hiatus. Pencils probably is swamped with work for the past several months and I am sure the virus has put a damper on anything else he had going.
Somebody did on Tumblr and he said this, “Creative Hiatus”. He didn’t have a story skeleton for it? Now he is just fixated in that meme comic.
I’m fairly confident Pencils will continue it. I just don’t know when. You’d probably get more information from asking him directly.
