“A commission? Oh!” Mulberry says, pointing at the symbol. “It’s an M! Like, for Mournthread?”
“That’s what I thought too, but nah. It’s just a weird symbol. Just like the others.” He says, walking towards a back door.
“Others…? There are more?” Mulberry asks intrigued.
“Yeah.” He says, opening the door and placing the giant ‘M’ down. “These in here.”
The mare peers through the door and sees two symbols that look like a V. The third looks like a cross with a circle around it.
>Just what could these be used for…?
“So um… I don’t suppose you have a sheath for the knife? I-I’ll pay for it of course.” Mulberry asks nervously as the stallion turns and glares at her.
“It’s fine… Just take it and go.” He says, picking up some metal, dropping it off at the forge, and then walking to the front room.
Mulberry sheepishly follows, and when she gets to the door to the front room McClank has returned holding a leather sheath.
Mulberry thanks him and takes the sheath. He grunts in acknowledgement and then goes to the forge and begins to heat the metal.
