Yeah me neither it seems the rush to end the show made them to go with a mediocre character design of twilight in a older state, the reality is that the only reason why celestia looks like that is not only because she’s an alicorn, but because of the thousands of years she has lived in equestria.
She is just Celestia 2.0 now :(
