It is the 41st millennium. For more than ten centuries the Empress of Ponykind has sat immobile upon the Golden Throne of Equis. She is the master of all ponykind by her will alone. Master of millions of worlds with her inexhaustible armies. She is a rotting corpse writhing with energies and powers long lost to time. She is the one true ruler of the vast Imperium Equis, The Empire of Ponykind. A thousand unicorns sacrifice their connection to the Warp permanently in order for her life to last one more day, so that she may truly never die, the glow of her horn the only sign of life. Though she may be in a state of perpetual undeath she continues her eternal vigilance, her will fuels the astronomican that guides countless ships through the daemon infested miasma of the Warp. Countless worlds are fought with her countless soldiers; the mighty Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super soldiers. The Astra Militarum, the Imperial Guard and countless Planetary Defense Forces. The ever vigilant Imperial Inquisition. And the Tech Priests of the Adeptus Mechanichus. To name but a few. But, even with their combined might it is still only just enough to stand against the ever encroaching enemies of the Imperium. Xenos, heritics, and far, FAR worse. To be a pony is to be one of untold billions. Living under a regime that tries to do good for its people, but the hellish circumstances leaves many to poverty and death and outside threats that would turn any untrained mind to madness. In these dark times, hope is all but lost. But, all nightmares have an ending, even if its darkest before the dawn.
 
 
Finally, this beast took a lot of hours of, “Is it good enough?” and me just adding bits and bobbles until I was happy with it. Ceelstia is looking a little…hollow yes but hey, having your soul shattered into thousands of pieces can’t be all THAT bad…right?
