That’s because he’s originally gonna be a raiju-like creature. But in the final draft of the film, he’s a satyr-like creature.

you know, I keep seeing all these things they did, and part of me forgets and I start getting excited for this amazing movie, with a rad-AF 80’s style grimness to it that tells me of an adventure of greatness.. then I remember what we were given.

Why didn’t they design a Chinese dragon long for the Storm King? The words of storm, thunder, and dragons are interrelated across Asian languages and often use the same logograph.
